About Scott Gunn
Scott Gunn spent over 14 years working with non-profit, social service organizations in the United States and abroad. From 1997 to 2004, he served as the administrative director of Christ House, a non-profit homeless services organization in Washington DC. In this role, he supervised a staff of 54 and was responsible for managing more than $2 million in annual government & private funding related to homeless services in Washington, DC.
Responding to a long-term desire to start his own business, Scott begin to explore real estate investing in 2003. Since launching his real estate investing career in 2004, he has completed 40 buying & selling transactions involving over $10,000,000.00 in real estate. Since 2005, Scott’s core business has been buying and renovating single family houses in the Metro DC area. Scott’s approach is to build an investment system with an outstanding team as opposed to another job. A licensed Realtor in DC, MD and VA, Scott serves on the Board of Directors of Samaritan Inns, a non-profit organization serving people who are homeless and in need of alcohol and drug treatment in Washington, DC.
In addition to his investment business, Scott also works as a Real Estate Investment Coach. In his coaching program, you will receive instruction on the key elements involved in the profitable renovation of single family homes in the DC Metro Area. Some of the topics which the program covers are: Finding the Deal, Analyzing Deals Like a Pro, Knowing Your Exit Strategies Before You Buy, Financing the Deal, Managing Contractors for Profits, Keys to Selling the Property and Keys to Holding the property.
Designed for both the investor seeking to rehab and retail a property for cash now and the investor seeking to hold rental property for long-term wealth building, this coaching program will involve an email support, teleconferences, and live group events, including visiting some of Scott’s current rehab projects in progress.
